Every Monday morning , the Auray market takes place in the town center, reputed to beone of the biggest in Morbihan. It’s a great opportunity to discover the region’s local produce andcrafts during your vacation.

The basilica of Ste-Anne d’Auray

Located 7 km from Auray, this magnificent religious building attracts many visitors every year. It’s a major pilgrimage site in Brittany. At the heart of the sanctuary, discover the basilica, the Scala Santa, the cloister and the memorial.

The port of Saint-Goustan, with its colorful half-timbered houses, convivial terraces and boats, is a must for strolling around and enjoying the picturesque atmosphere of the area. After strolling along Quai Franklin, cross the pretty stone bridge and take the Loch ramps for a sublime view of the port. For a more entertaining and anecdote-filled visit, climb aboard the Petit Train Touristique for a tour of Auray town center.

On the banks of the Bono river, visit the old port of Le Bono, a former fishing village, where you’ll discover typical fishermen’s houses. From the old suspension bridge, built over 150 years ago, a splendid view of the port and the old oyster-building sites awaits you. Thanks to the coastal paths, you can enjoy magnificent walks along the river of Le Bono and Auray . And if you feel like it, kayak up the Bono river or follow the coastal path across the suspension bridge to discover the boat cemetery.
