Domaine Mané Guernehué: the story of a family saga since 1976
The Madec family created the Mané Guernehué campsite in Baden in 1976, and the children continue to perpetuate the spirit of a family business.

A mark of quality, this label rewards the efforts of Marie-Pierre and Jean-Vincent Madec to develop the estate’s services and facilities.
The history of the estate on the family farm website
The story begins in 1976 , when Mr. and Mrs. Pierre Madec created Le Mané Guernehué farm campsite on the site of the family farm , ideally situated on the shores of the Gulf of Morbihan. The 2-star campsite had 33 pitches. Le Mané Guernehué means “the new town on the hill” in Breton!
Holidaymakers can buy products from the farm, including yoghurts, cheeses and cottage cheeses.
The real boom began in 1987 with the construction of the first swimming pool. From 2000 onwards, the creation of the outdoor water park, the indoor pool and then the aqualudic park enabled us to offer an XXL water park to our conquered clientele. Offering ever more upmarket services, the campsite was awarded a 5-star rating in 2012 by the French government agency Atout France, following a rigorous survey by an accredited body.
Landscaping
The Mané Guernehué campsite, set in 20 hectares of parkland, offers an authentic, verdant landscape.
Here you’ll find the old orchard, the pine forest, the ponds, the fields, the farm with its goats, geese, ducks, chickens…, and of course the equestrian farm with its 40 Shetland sport horses and ponies.
The natural environment is carefully preserved, allowing visitors to fully recharge their batteries by connecting with nature. Endemic flowers, trees and shrubs are carefully tended, contributing to the richness and diversity of the vegetation.
The pitches and mobile homes are perfectly integrated into the surrounding nature, creating an atmosphere conducive to relaxation and well-being.
This natural environment also encourages outdoor activities such as hiking, cycling and family picnics on the coastal paths and beaches of the Golfe du Morbihan.
